Bacteriostatic Water for Injection USP is sterile water preserved with 0.9% benzyl alcohol. The benzyl alcohol inhibits bacterial growth, allowing multiple-use withdrawals from the vial. Commonly used in research settings for the reconstitution of lyophilized peptides and proteins. Supplied in a 10 mL multi-dose vial. Please note: Bacteriostatic water must be purchased separately and all peptides must be reconstituted by the researcher prior to use.
